Chests of drawers built for the bedroom, the living room and the hallway, in formats that range from low bedside-height pieces of around 70 cm to tall towers up to 190 cm that double as an auxiliary wardrobe. The catalogue includes more than twenty models in oak finishes (Sonoma, Wotan, Artisan, Westminster), gloss white, graphite, cashmere and two-tone combinations, with prices from around €100 to roughly €530.

Types of chest: drawer-only, mixed and tallboy units

Drawer-only chests concentrate all the storage into drawers —from three to six depending on the model— and are the most practical option for folded clothes, underwear or lingerie; pieces like Kaspian 105, Forn 90 or Nuis 90 follow this layout. Mixed chests combine drawers with one or several doors, so the closed compartment can hold boxes, files or bedding, as in Kaspian 144, Forn 156 or Yamael 184. Tallboy-style towers (Tetrix 50) and tall units (Gap 190) prioritise height over width: they take up only 50–85 cm of wall, yet offer storage capacity similar to a low chest one metre wide.

Sizes: low, tall and narrow to fit the space

Low chests, between 70 and 90 cm in height, sit comfortably next to the bed and work as a wide bedside table for a lamp, books or a speaker. The middle range, between 100 and 150 cm, is the most common height for double bedrooms and leaves room above for a picture or mirror without overloading the wall. Above 160 cm, pieces like Yamael 184 or Gap 190 take advantage of vertical space and are useful in small rooms where the floor is already taken by the bed. Narrow versions, around 50 cm wide, suit hallways, entrance areas or corners between doors without sacrificing storage capacity.

Finishes available: oak, gloss white and two-tone

The oak finishes cover the full tonal range: Sonoma and Wotan in warm honey tones, Artisan in a marked rustic look, Westminster and Dark Delano in deeper shades, and Monastery, Riviera or Flagstaff for contemporary interiors. Gloss white remains a regular choice for small bedrooms because it visually widens the wall, while cashmere and graphite offer more neutral, less saturated alternatives. Two-tone combinations (white drawers on an oak body, or Westminster oak with gloss white fronts) are a simple way to break the monotony without resorting to strong colours, especially when the rest of the bedroom already has a defined palette.

Drawers, doors and internal organisation

Drawers run on metal slides and usually include safety stops so they cannot be pulled completely out of the body. In chests with doors, the interior typically includes one or two adjustable shelves, which lets you adapt the space to boxes, baskets or stacked clothes. Hinges are soft-close, preventing slams and extending the life of the hardware. Handles are interchangeable on most models, so if the original finish (metal, matte, recessed profile) does not convince you, it can be swapped for something more in line with the rest of the room.

How to choose the right chest of drawers for your room

The most useful rule is to align the height of the piece with the mattress: a chest at mattress height or slightly below (between 50 and 60 cm) works as a bedside table and keeps the visual balance of the wall. If the chest sits at the foot of the bed or on a clear lateral wall, you can move up to 100–150 cm so it has presence without covering plug sockets or pictures. Always measure the available gap and add at least 40 cm of front clearance: the drawers have an average depth of 40–45 cm and need that free space to open fully. For children's rooms, low and sturdy pieces with no sharp corners work best; Noeda 71, Matos 80 or Nevada 81 fit that profile.

Delivery across Spain and home assembly

Chests are delivered flat-packed in boxes with screws, fittings and an instruction manual included. Assembly takes between one and three hours depending on the number of drawers and doors, and only needs a screwdriver and a rubber mallet to fit the dowels. We deliver to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, and we answer questions on sizes, finishes or colour compatibility before purchase.
